Lakes Winter

Discover the beauty of the Fuegian lakes in winter and combine it with the best snow activities.
We will leave the city of Ushuaia, taking National Route 3 (Panamericana) towards the north of the island, to access the Fuegian Andes through valleys covered by peat bogs.
We will travel through the Carbajal, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras Valleys, among others, where in winter it is possible to practice cross-country skiing and other winter activities, also passing by the base of the Cerro Castor complex where alpine skiing and other mountain sports are practiced. Here you can choose to do snow activities.
The next point of the tour will be the Garibaldi Pass (450 mtrs above sea level), where we will ascend through a winding road the Andes Mountains until we reach a beautiful view of the hidden lake. From there we will start our return to the city, stopping before to taste the typical "Asado de Cordero fueguino" (optional).
